Welcome back!

Presentation Discussion

In the first half, I’m going to get you sharing your sketches and notes from your presentation, and talking about these. When you have done this, we’ll move onto our next topic: and that is fake news!

In the first half, I want you to talk about:

1. What you are presenting on
2. How you are presenting this information
3. What challenges you are facing

We’ll talk about this in the main group to really try to pin down your ideas. Then we’ll move on to talk about the next topic.

Fake News

1. What are the main sources through which you get access to the news?
2. How do you distinguish between real and fake news?
3. Are you more likely to think something is fake news if it disrupts your world view (for example, it is a story about a celebrity you like doing something bad)? Are you more likely to think something is true if it reinforces your world view?
